Just checked out the stock weights for these cars and the lightest is the Scud at 1350kg and the heaviest is the SL55 at 1970kg. At the moment I am going to be sticking with minimum weight being 1250kg however after a few more testing sessions this can drop.

Restrictions at the moment are maximum BHP -562 and minimum weight -1250kg.

P.S.: I have edited anons post with all the cars stock weight after their BHP. The Ferrari California does not have a stock weight in the manufacturers guide but I have one and without looking at its parts and weather I have done a weight reduction it is 1452kg. EDIT: stage 1 weight reduction, window reduction and carbon bonnet.

Done a bit of testing last night with the 2 Mercs, the Ferrari Cali and the Lotus Espirit. Surprisingly close between all four, however the lighter Espirit with lower BHP was quickest.

Have been building the cars on and off today between the cricket. Just finished the last one. Quick builds without tunes, but I'll run a few laps in each around....Suzuka Arkon, maybe. Might just have a look and get back to you.

I have built all mine within the 562 and 1250 restrictions, but put soft racing tyres on all of them. I figure if they can't be tamed with the best tyres then they aren't going to be much chop.

With tyres its going to be drivers choice but I would suggest you maybe have at least race hard and race soft. Depending on the race, sprint or enduro.@ Arckon I have been running all my cars around Suzuka east, the shorter track, getting between 51 and 52secs.

On another note I built one of my cars right up to 562BHP and ran it around the practice track and noticed the BHP was 563. No I didn't change oil or any other changes. WTF?

I ended up doing some testing on trial mountain east, takes just over a minute and there is a long straight and the rest is plenty twisty. I tried not to tune the cars too much or do too many laps and just see if any were too slow or too fast.

Jag XK 07 1:03.870 (many laps and a fair bit of tuning)
Jag XKR 10 1:03.201 (3rd lap no tuning - Stu did a 1:01.747)
Scud 1:02.924 (2nd lap, no tuning)
430 1:02.306 (2nd lap, no tuning)
Merc C63 1:02.725 (8th lap, some tuning)
Lotus 1:02.645 (6th lap, tuned)
8C 1:02.916 (6th lap, some tuning)
M3 1:02.452 (3rd lap, some tuning)
Massa 1:02.976 (6th lap, fair bit of tuning)
SL55 1:03.556 (>6laps, lot of tuning, gave up)
Haven't done the california yet.

The 2 Fezza's are the pick by a long way. The SL, Massa and XK are gonna struggle unless someone can really dial them in. Will try and get the california done this week.

That was part of our evil plan. Twisted Evil

Can every one that wants to be in this nominate 3 cars you would like to drive. (1 being 1st preference etc.) This doesn't mean you will be able to drive them just want an indication as to what you all like and to see the variety.

I might post up a tune (Stu, Anon?) of one of these cars and then we name a track where you can put some times in. I have an idea where the slowest people get first pick and so on.

NOTE: SANDBAGGING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and if caught will be handed a stock VW Kubelwagen for the series.

1. M3
2. C63
3. California

Everyone should have the 8C as it's a prize car so that seems like an easy choice. I could look at posting a simple (cheap) build to use for a qualifying car. Not sure what track. Suzuka is good, or trial mtn, I'm easy.

Sorry it took me a while to get this done Whacked, busier than a one-legged cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen pond. Feel like I'm getting less done than the cat though.

OK one Masser GT tune. I built mine before Whacked asked for a tune, so it has rims, front/rear/wing aero, racing soft tyres and full weight loss including windows, bonnet and rigidity. It both looks mean in this build and drives heaps better. It is an understeering pig with full weight, still a bit shitty in the corners to be honest, but give it a go folks. If this build seems a bit too rich, I've done a few laps and I'll put up a time and whoever wants it can have mine.

Build = Oil change, Stage 1 engine, Sports ECU, Sports induction, racing air filter, titanium racing exhaust, spts exhaust manifold, cat converter, FC tranny (360km/hr), twin clutch, semi-racing flywheel, carbon shaft, LSD (IT 8, Accel 45, Braking Cool, and FC suspension:
F R
Height -25 -23
Springs 8.5 5.0
Extension 5 7
Compression 6 4
ARB 3 5
Camber 2.2 1.8
Toe -0.16 0.16
Brakes 6 9

After 3 laps around Nurburgring GP/D with those settings and I got a 1:26.425. Not super-quick, but it was starting to feel pretty good compared to the stock settings. If someone has something they want to add, don't be shy.

Hey Stik! How have you been kiddo! Mate, sent a FR ages ago, but I'll put through another one and just let us know what cars you want. I've got them all built to spec. Or if you need any cars for any of the events just let us know. The seasonals are keeping me well in the black at the moment.

Anon just built one up to those specs and my BHP is 590 thus making it illegal for this particular series. What is th HP of yours? Maybe I put something in that wasn't meant to be there.

Ok. Standard intake manifold, racing filter, standard exhaust manifold, cat converter, titanium exhaust. That should see you just under 560bhp.
