35 laps around Suzuka in the wet... You're a nutter... I like it...lol
So, we looking around 2 mins a lap??? Anyone getting up early on the Tuesday, do we need to start a little bit earlier??
I'm ok with normal start times as I will be enjoying some holidays from this Friday (until the start of May... Woohoo!!!), but if anyone needs it earlier... yell out now or forever hold your peace.

Re: EURO V8 Round 7 FINAL.
Well done everyone, an enjoyable series.
I decided to have a bit of a break for 3 - 6 months but the last hour since the race finished, I have been wondering what the next series is. I think I may have to just cut back to this Monday night series only and the once a month Sunday Funruns.

Re: EURO V8 Round 7 FINAL.
Can I suggest a GT series for our next Monday night events, with a slight twist.
1/ We choose 4 GT cars.
2/ Eight week ( 8 track ) series.
3/ We pre select the tracks and order they will be raced in.
4/ We all race each of the 4 GT cars for 2 races, throughout the series.
5/ Random draw (dice roll) selects the cars the driver uses on the track. (Idea behind this is make it less likely for a driver to select a certain car for a specific track and also testing drivers by having to drive every type car, maybe one of which they are not as comfortable with compared to the other cars).
All the above points can be slightly altered depending on the amount of participants we get. EG: 12 people ( 9 week series, 3 cars for 3 races each, etc).
What are everyones thoughts on this, as I can see some people would have pro's and con's on the above idea?
Am happy to organise if people are interested.

Re: EURO V8 Round 7 FINAL.
Sounds good to me Arckon.
We're doing a SuperGT series on WP on Wednesday nights at the moment, and it's good fun racing, plenty of grip. Our cars are limited to 600 PP, and it's fairly even throughout the field (div's 1 - 4 all racing together).
I like the idea of a different car to be used by everyone over the course of the series, adds that element of surprise.
Good to see the Enduro got your "juices" flowing again. Cutting back to just the one series is a good idea, keep the involvement but not overdoing it.

Re: EURO V8 Round 7 FINAL.
The GT idea as Arckon posted above, but the cars are only GT-R's and NSX's. Even if we roll the dice and race a different car each week, we can still add up manufacturer points as well as championship points. Just a suggestion. I am happy to do some testing of these cars and try and figure out which ones are fairly closely matched. Would be good to have a unique track in this series as well. I liked that track Arckon did way back when. I know we can't use it since the update, but it had a bit of everything, reckon it'd suit an enduro for sure.

Re: EURO V8 Round 7 FINAL.
Just saw the thread, we should probably move this discussion to the appropriate thread.
This is for me to post about how f@#ked up the fuel use simulation is on this game. What a c&^t!!!!
Must say though, I got hammered on Sunday in the W/p race and last week at Madrid. So...even though I didn't win, I started to feel good behind the wheel again. Was starting to lose confidence, but last night was a real buzz, was hitting apex's again, finding the braking zones and getting good times (even in the wet at the start).
As Stu said, thanks Whacked, job well done. And congrat's to Stu and Stumbles. Not sure who won, but you guys were the dominant racer's during the season. Special mention to Darko, late starter but you fitted into the group well and you got that Lotus singing!!
Bring on season 2 (or is it 3?)!!!!

Re: EURO V8 Round 7 FINAL.
Who is around this Monday? If enough people are around and not eating chocolate bunnies in leaking tents, then I will put together a handful of sprint races in different cars. There will be prizes.
Cars will include the midget and fiat. But I would also like to run some Euro racing car events using the German touring cars, and maybe a GT race.
