Round 7... Bonus Round!!!!!

I have not finalised the details for this race, but it will be an enduro and will not be for the faint-hearted (looking at you Whacked!!).

Sorry lads, been laid up with the flu. Will try and get some GT5 time tonight and quickly test a few things so I can get the specifications up. One thing I can tell you is that the race will be around an hour, so if anyone wants to start a little earlier let us know.

Here we go, sorry about the delay, but I've either been at work or in bed the last 4 days...no fun at all.

Anyway here's the plan:

Nurburgring Norsch Type V - 6 laps.
Grid: As per current ladder positions.
Additional Rules: 1 compulsory pitstop
Points: As per usual plus the following -
The winner gets 50 bonus points
Whoever finishes within 15 sec's gets 45 bonus pts
Within 30 sec's gets 40 bonus pts
Within 45 sec's gets 30 bonus pts
Within 60 sec's gets 20 bonus pts
Within 90 sec's gets 10 bonus pts
Outside 90sec's gets 0 bonus pts

For example you might finish 3rd, which immediately nets you 40pts as per the usual system, but you were within 30sec's of first place so you get 80pts for the round. My hope is that this will keep everyone on the go the whole race, plus the championship is still wide open with 115pts on offer to the winner.

I did a few laps tonight and I gotta say the mini loves this track and I am gonna miss this championship. I have looked forward to racing this car each week, lets hope the DTM cars are even half as good!!

Well done for those who turned up last night, poor Whacked tried and tried again and couldn't connect. Bloody frustrating when you and Arckon can get it working ok with xbl but not the psn?!?!?
