Hey Darko, good to see you chiming in with some suggestions and 60's 70's muscle cars certainly wouldn't disappoint me for a series.
As I said earlier, am happy whatever the next series is.

Ran some laps at Grand Valley East in the McLaren MP4-12C '10 (this is one sweet ride) and Lexus ENEOS SC430 '08 without any adjustments.

Well I think the next 3 series have already been planned. Great stuff. How about everyone build the camaro and mini (have you posted the build/reg's Stu?), and we can test them this Monday after the race.

Mini's were super fun last night with Rinkles. Did some races around ye olde London. Wall bouncing nose to tail racing. I've no doubt it would be great fun to run with the mini, if not in this series, but definitely at some stage.

As a bit of a preemptive strike, can those of you with a similar problem to me (ie have loads of credits, but no cars to buy), take the opportunity to buy up some of the Euro Touring Cars currently in the OCD. Firstly they are great fun to drive, and secondly...there may be a series in them coming up. I'll grab one of each, so I can dupe them if necessary (I have all of them already, but these are 0 km's and 1/2 price!!).

I purchase 3 or 4 of them this morning also, from memory the Supra, BMW M3, Audi R8, sure there was another one, wanted the Merc but hated the livery, are you able to repaint them?

Euro Touring Cars:

Tentative specifications - 443bhp, engine tuning to stage 2 (not 3), stock aspiration. If you could try and build one for the Monday night mini event so we can do a few test laps. Open to ideas if anyone has done any events in these previously. Oh, and tyres were racing soft, but these are grippy suckers, so could probably limit to hards, but was thinking might leave the choice open?

I think we need to have 2 rooms running this series the faster guys and the not so fast. What do you think?

Yeah, keen to get 2 rooms running. Did some testing with Darko Fri night, and it may be hard to find the right settings to keep these things competitive, but will keep toying with different cars on different tracks to get as even a mix as possible.

With only 5 or 6 per room i don't think it's a great idea, we could still run 2 divisions but all in the same room, more fun with a field of 12.

Ran some more tests last night and i think Racing Hards is the way to go for tyre choice.

Have found some info on GTP (http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/group.php?&do=discuss&groupid=275&discussionid=1213&gmid=26843#gmessage26843). These guys are in their 4th season, so I would think the format must mostly work. They use 473bhp and min wt of 1120, so the merc and astra's need 120kg added. The other thing is the adding of weight to the winners cars, not sure I'm a huge fan, but worth testing. The other thing is mandatory pitstops and using different tyres. Have a read and see what you think?

If we can't have 2 rooms how about we have teams? One fast driver and a second slower one. Same cars and maybe the faster guy can help his lesser talented team mate to his set up. Just a thought.
