I've just put up a car for the new seasonal races. It's a little corker, see seasonals for details.

Stu is the x2010 the Vettel car and if so I think you need to be a real high level to gain that car. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You get the Vettel X1 if you complete the Vettel challenge after you reach level 30 in A Spec.

You also get the common variety X1 when you reach level 35 B Spec... (same car, just bland paint I believe).

Yes I understand that part Stumbles what I am trying to say is if you want to buy it outright ( I think its 20 million) you need to be a certain level and its not 30 cos I am there now.

I hope you weren't doing stuff like this to my X2010 Stu...

Can see you doing this to some cars in the near future.

I have run 2 of the new seasonal's and have a fiat 500 and lotus on my share list. There are ready to run and have given me golds for their respective events. These are hard to win, but once I got the car setups working for me I won the fiat race by nearly 2 secs and the lotus race by nearly 10. I have done a few laps of laguna seca, but quickly realised I need to play with the WRX a bit more, so I'll put it up when I've tamed it.

They are worth winning as you get level 21, 22 and 23 tickets, plus loads of loot and xp.

I got gold at laguna wednesday night as well. Amongst other mods I added height adjustable suspension but couldn't tune out the instability under brakes so added a rear wing. Got it second try by a few seconds after that. Can share it this evening if you like....The BHP is right on the limit and keeps going up as the engine wears in, so you might need to turn the limter back a touch

Oh and I don't use ABS so you'll need to increase the rear bias to counter braking understeer if you turn it on.

Am pleased to see the original seasonals format is back with model restrictions etc and one-off prizes for your position and below for quick cash injections. I stopped bothering with them after they abandoned this format.

Stu - I've permanently got duplicate cars that I can't sell/gift shared as well - they're not tuned.
  1. X2010
  2. Toyota 7 race car (the 60's one) - great for the A-spec historics and I can update with a tune for this.
  3. Zonda R - I bought one early on for A-spec then won another a couple of months ago

That'd be great koaster. Be good to see your tune. I did 2 laps & swore incoherently about AWD cars before heading to bed!!

The good thing about using shared cars, the BHP doesn't go up.

I will be giving these races a go tonight, I'l grab the Fiat and Lotus off your profile Anon.

Koastr, if you can get the Rex shared tonight, that would be sweet.

No worries I'll put it up when I get home in a couple of hours. Might put the lotus up in case you want to try a different setup as that one's a bit unstable out of the box too.

Very pleased with the prizes for those events. One of the tickets gave me the premium FordGT LM which I was thinking about buying. Cool

Well, just found that you can go into the garage after borrowing a car and change the power output anyway. Koastr's WRX is 3 BHP too high, went in and dropped it back to 394 and can now get into the event.

Man am I crap, I borrowed Anon's Fiat and Lotus and in the Fiat could only get second 15sec ......yes you read that right 15 sec behind first. For the Lotus race, 3 times in a row came 4th, 5 - 4 sec's behind 1st
Arckon buries his head in shame.

There is no shame Arckon, these are hard races. Those cars haven't been tuned much off stock. Feel free to adjust whatever settings you want to make them work better for you. If you jump onto gtp a few guys have put up the lap times you need to shoot for. That'll help.

Haven't tried the Lotus yet, but had a couple of goes at Laguna in the Rex... got it down to 0.2 behind the leader, then 0.1 behind. More fine tuning required...lol

The latest patch has also fixed the thing where a shared car didn't go up BHP as the car "runs in". Got Koastr's Rex down to 394, did a couple of races then the car doesn't meet entry standards.

Put my Scoobie doo on my share list. Borrowed a tune off gtp and won by over 3 sec's. Wouldn't have thought a tune would make so much difference, but there you go. Nearly got into the 34's....before tuning was having trouble getting into the 35's!! Bloody addictive challenge, hope there are more.

Hey guys do the seasonal time trial and drift trial as well. They've added prizes to these for benchmark time/scores. I did the drift trials and won $1M for each! The benchmarks are easy (haven't tried TT yet). Even if you don't care about competing for leaderboard positions, it's another great money earner.
