Nice one Stu, will probably only be able to make it every second Saturday, and unfortunately not this week.

Ahhh Stubeef. I'm in the middle of cow and redneck country west of Toowoomba. Not home till tomoz night, hope you get a good turn up and have some fun. I'll be listening to some banjo music and eating some freashly killed possum garnished with crickets and cowboy sweat....be thinking of you though.

Nascars? Midgets? Slalom? Rally car practice? Euro V8's? 69 Camaro RM? Thoughts?

I say we go for the NASCAR first and after that anything goes. Samba bus sounds good, must go get one.

Re: Nascar Sprint Cup Saturdays
Yeah, I should be on tonight.
Back on the controller at the moment, I think I've found the problem with the wheel pulling left (and no... it's not the driver), the power adapter is shagged. Started pulling left again last night, unplugged it then it wouldn't calibrate and the power light was flashing. After some reading, it does that with dead power-packs.
Hopefully a laptop adapter will work. Anyone have an old power adapter... 100-240Vac, 1.75A, 24Vdc with a 2.1mm plug???

Thanks Stu, I didn't even look at Ebay.
I'm going to duck out to Dick Smith and see if they have a generic one.

Well, DS is no good, only thing they had was a laptop power supply and they wanted $130 for it... pfft.
He suggested Jaycar... nothing suitable there either and he suggested Force electronics, but of course, they're not open today...lol

WTF!!!
First, I got booted as soon as I joined. Rebooted the console and the modem and then couldn't even sign into the network. Finally got signed in and now it wont let me join... "Entry was refused due to network incompatibility with the room owner [706]"
Guess the gods don't want me to play GT5 tonight???

Re: Nascar Sprint Cup Saturdays
Now its getting weird... start my own room and get booted from that as soon as someone joins.
And, (to top it off), I got booted from the PS network just after sending a message to Anon...lol
Maybe my modem is almost stuffed??? I'm really wanting to smash something about now

Have looked at all my various adapters, but I'm coming up short. 100-240Vac and 2.1mm plug is easy, 24Vdc thins the field, and 1.75A is the problem. Got 1.1, 1.3 and 1.5...just no 1.75A. Have a mate who is a hoarder like me, will chase him down on Wed after work and check what he has.

Re: Nascar Sprint Cup Saturdays
Yup, 24 Vdc and 1.75A is the killer. Really odd numbers. Jaycar had a universal adapter, but that was only 1.0A.
Even the Microslop wheel adapter is only 0.8A (input) and 1.0A output.

I should be on for this tonight. Daughter has her school formal, so I'll have to leave around 11pm (CST) to go pick her up.
Have you guys done any upgrades to the Nascars?? Can you even do upgrades to them???

Will see you all tonight.
Stumbles you are a good dad picking your daughter up after her prom you obviously remember what goes on after the prom. These are things I am not looking forward to in 15 or so years.

I would rather catch the bus or train and I hate public transport. I'm sure she would love an XY Phase 3 Falcon. Now that is a car!!!!!!
