When you unzip it, it should be a folder on the desktop?? One will be called GT Rs and the other Karts.
And you're right, you cant put both in one folder...lol

Ok, ran the 25 laps, saved a replay, managed to not have to pit although only a sliver of tyres left by the last couple of laps.

Re: EURO V8 Round 2
Sooooo, this weeks mystery prize?????
This round there was NO mystery prize.
Remember though 4 of the 7 rounds contain a mystery prize or prizes. Will next weeks round contain one, will next weeks round contain more than one mystery prize.
If there is a mystery prize next round what will the criteria be for winning it?
Will the results of last rounds race be the basis of the criteria?
Round 1's mystery prize was worth 1x $300 000.
Will the next mystery prize (whatever round it next pops up in) be worth more?
Will it be worth less because there is more than one prize, or will it be worth even more as either a single or multiple prize?
The only way to know is be a starter in next weeks round (barring bl..dy disconnect from servers, bl..dy pi..ed me off that did, not like it was my bl..dy fault, d..n servers).
See you all next week (Well actually I won't, as I will be on a flight home, but good luck all).

Re: EURO V8 Round 2
Ahhh, sorry. All that footage is from the first 20 laps (ish) and that was where I got the results. Too lazy to check in here. Sorry Rinkles.
Tues should be good for me, I won't be able to get on till around 8pm QLD time at best though, is that alright?
Hey, Arkon. Were you wifi or wired on Monday? The wp room had troubles last week too. Some of those guys were wifi though.

Re: EURO V8 Round 2
Can I be a pain (yet again) and ask someone who saved the replay of the race to work out everyones finishing times. I forgot to save it. Arckon has submitted his time somewhere see below, all you have to do is add 25 seconds onto his time and fit it in where possible.
Also Arckon would like a copy of the replay he has sent me his email via PM if you are willing to send it to him please PM him and work it out with him.
EDIT: Arckons time 26:49.177

I've got the Bob widget running. As soon as the race is done, I'll check the replay.

Re: EURO V8 Round 2
My Bob widget has been dodgy lately. Anyone else had problems. I'm doing lots of B-Spec stuff currently to get my level up, but 2-3 nights of widgets and I'd be at 35. Not sure why, but it keeps loosing the server or can't find the PS3??

Mines the opposite. I switched it on this arvo, and it ran flawlessly, constantly starting races. I have switched my location (in the widget settings) to USA, maybe that helps??

I was wired, after the problem I had on that testing night with lag, I have gone back to wired.
I've mentioned the Nat types before for wireless you need Nat type 2 but for wired it should be Nat type 1.
When I first hooked up to wired it was Nat type 1, now even if I turn of the PS3 and re-boot the modem (this has always worked in the past) it normally resets to type 1 but for some reason at the moment I can not get it off of type 2 with wired connection.
Next Tuesday I am seriously thinking of getting a new modem.
Does any one know of a 4 port modem that works well with the xbox 360 and PS3 at a relatively good price, and with the usual built in security. I used to have a billion modem which was superb but a year or so ago went a Belkin and am not really happy with that brand.

Re: EURO V8 Round 2
I used a wired connection too Arckon, my NAT type is 2. Only Nat 3 is when you should have major drama's, I read somewhere that NAT 2 is normal, and NAT 1 is when you have a direct connection from the PS3 to the internet (bypassing all modem securities???).
As for the modem, I use a Netcomm NB6+4W, gets a bit warm but works ok. The Dynalink RTA1024W is basically the same thing (Netcomm bought out Dynalink or vice-versa).
MSY here in Adelaide have the Netcomm for $59..

Re: EURO V8 Round 2
Hmm, ok thanks Stumbles, well the other night must have been server issues then, if Nat 2 is correct for wired I may as well stay with the modem I have then. The other night was obviously just one of those nights.
