New Zealand quakes

Not sure if anyone of the members are from across the pond, but best wishes to all family and friends over there. Devastating pictures all over TV since I got home from work.

What has the Southern Hemisphere done to the "powers above", we've copped a fair smashing the past few weeks/months.

I have a close friend (ex workmate) that moved over to a little town about 40 Kms from Christchurch. He and his family are ok, but they are a bit shaken. Only 5 and a half months since the last massive earthquake there, and this one was at the worst time... Lunchtime in the city, people everywhere. I believe John (my friend) was in Christchurch when it hit, only seen a message and a few pics on facebook from him.

Hopefully no-one here lost anyone near-and-dear to them.

Yeah, horrible stuff. I can't move without bumping into a kiwi up where I work, thankfully no bad news from anyone yet.

C'mon mother nature, cut us some slack!!!
