PSN Down......
Don't panic like me, and spend an hour or more trying to log on to the PSN. It's currently down, and may be so for a day or 2.

Is it back up yet? Sick and tired of logging on only to be dissappointed. When it comes back on can someone post up here so I don't have to check every few hours.

I'll be buying Forza 4 definately anyway. Should be totally recharged and back full tilt in race events by that time.

Re: PSN Down......
I have had enough of checking to see if PSN is up and running, in fact I am so close to selling my PS3, but who would buy something that is crap and doesn't work. Promises, promises, promises all we have got in return is lies, lies, lies. A big f##k you to Sony 'gaystation' and all who are involved in this putrid mess. Lucky I have an XBox 360 and XBox Live. 1 pissed off PS3 customer!!!!!

Got this from one of the guys on whirlpool...
Service Restoration Update
As you may know, we’ve begun the process of restoring the service through internal testing of the new system. We’re still working to confirm the security of the network infrastructure, as well as working with a variety of outside entities to confirm with them of the security of the system. Verifying the system security is vital for the process of restoration. Additional comprehensive system checks and testing are still required, and we must complete that process before bringing the systems online.
As you’ve heard us say, our utmost priorities are the security of the network and ensuring your data is safe. We won’t restore the services until we can test the system’s strength in these respects.
When we held the press conference in Japan last week, based on what we knew, we expected to have the services online within a week. We were unaware of the extent of the attack on Sony Online Entertainment servers, and we are taking this opportunity to conduct further testing of the incredibly complex system. We know many of you are wanting to play games online, chat with your friends and enjoy all of the services PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have to offer, and trust me when I say we’re doing everything we can to make it happen. We will update you with more information as soon as we have it. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience of this network outage.
Could be a while yet!!!

Re: PSN Down......
Genuinely hasn't been bothering me that it is down, plenty to catch up on from single player games on both xbox and playstation.
Don't get me wrong, am looking forward to getting back into some Monday Night multiplayer racing series on GT5, but overall, I personally am really not finding the whole situation that big of an inconvienence.

Re: PSN Down......
Yeah, I'm not too worried about it either Arckon.
I did a little bit of hot-lapping on Forza yesterday, not real successfully though...lol.
I've been getting out of the house a bit. Am pulling out of the Wednesday night Super GT race on the WP league site, met up with some mates at the RSL on ANZAC day, have been invited to play darts, so that takes care of racing plans on Wednesdays.

The bloke at EB, thats like saying they are bringing in Beckham to coach the Brisbane Lions, or getting Stevie Wonder to read puts for Tiger Woods, the knowledge base just ain't there.
On the weekend I preorder LA Noire, which is out on the 20th May and the response I received was: "whats that".
Now the below may not end up happening but the latest from Sony is 31st May.

Please leave the Lions out of this. A win is just around the corner.

Didn't mean to offend Rinkly, I just genuinely think there is no way it could be down until the end of the year.
You obviously deal with her a bit so I don't doubt she is quite knowledgable, but even you have to admit, that is not quite the norm from many (not necessarily all) EB staff.
