Re: PSN Down......
New firmware update (V3.61) available.
Network isn't up yet, this is just in readiness for it to come back online.
Having trouble getting the update though, keeps timing out and losing connection. Tried twice, got to 60% first time, only got to 38% the second time.
Will try again this arvo.

Make sure you check the file size if you get it from the above link. That even disconnected me at 131MB, the file is 177 MB total.
Trying again now.

Oooh, this sounds promising!!! Will be a shit-tonne of folks all trying to get this no doubt. Probably why it's lagging out Stumbles. Will try now, but if it falls over I might leave it till tonight. Although I'll have to do the mowing if it doesn't d/l?!?!

You too huh?? lol
Yeah, I'm going to leave it until tonight or tomorrow. Have tried 4 times now (wasted about 600MB of quota).
They're rolling out the openings over separate zones, so we probaly wont get it until tomorrow anyway.

Re: PSN Down......
D/L has failed......Ahh well, I can last another few days, I've nearly finished Bayonetta (don't judge me!!) and probably half way through Darksiders. Then I was going to finish off Dirt 2 or have another crack at F1 2010. Without online, I've remembered how many games I've collected over the years that I never really had a fair go at.

Re: PSN Down......
The USA is fully operational now (as of about 30 mins ago).
UK is next on the list. Then I think we'll get turned on.
I'd say it will happen sometime during the night. It took about 6 hours to get all of USA online, turning them on state by state.

Apparently Australia has been reconnected, I checked this morning and still got the maintenance message. Might be able to have a "Welcome back" race tonight if it's live.

Re: PSN Down......
Just reading on WP, yes, it's back on, but still having problems and it might take a couple of days to sort out the teething problems.
The PS Store won't be active until the end of the month too, they said that will be the last thing they turn back on.

Re: PSN Down......
Was able to get on last night, was a bit glitchy and dropped out a few times, but good to see things back to normal. 2 of my accounts are probably lost as they have long forgotten emails attached to them, bit of a pain, but such is life. Now I'll have to get around to writing up that GT series I proposed a month ago. Was hoping Whacked would have done it for me by now!!!
