Re: Le Mans 2 hr in Ferraris
There is a limit of 600 PP. I originally posted minimum weight to be 1100kgs, but none get near that. I am also letting you pick whatever Ferrari you want (hoping not all 458 and Enzos). I have a few up on my share list if anyone wants to try before you buy.
I can run most of my fezzes around Le Mans in roughly 3:50 - 3:55 minutes a lap, so have decided to make this a 31 lap event. Also it is going to be time change. Will have it on FULL penalties, however Rinkles and I did some testing the other night and found you can cut some corners without getting a penalty. If anyone gets caught doing these they will incur a stop go penalty in the pits (unscheduled pit stop). We are all honest so hopefully this rule will not come into effect.
OK now for the start and the handicap. I want you all to run a few (not too many) laps around Le Mans and PM me with your best time (clean please, remember honesty ), and I am going to put you into classes A, B and C. A being fastest and C slowest. C class will start at the green light B class will start at 45 secs and A class will start at 1:15. Once again the honesty system will occur.
Race time and date is as follows Monday 25th July 9pm AEST. See you there!!!!

Just to let you guys know Stumbles needs his beauty sleep and thinks 9pm is too late. Is it possible to get on as early as posible so he can get to bed at a decent hour. I will be on at around 8pm and as soon as everone is on we will start, we don't need qualifying as I have my handicapped start.

Re: Le Mans 2 hr in Ferraris
Sorry gents I won't be able to make it.
Same boat as Anon over here in the West, so I sorta need a break from weekday racing ATM as it's such a rush and stuffs up dinner time a bit. Plus with GTLOZ and watching the replays etc. I'm dominating the TV alot *missus is on my case about that, might have to buy a second one!*
Thanks I had alot of fun in the GT500 and hope to back running with you guys for another season sometime soon. Cheers.

No seriously these events are just fill ins until the Mini series, so don't stress and see you back on the winners podium when you return.

Re: Le Mans 2 hr in Ferraris
Pick any Ferrari you want Fiddles, as long as it's under 600 PP after upgrades.
If you don't send Whacked a message with your lap time, you'll be chucked into the highest handicap lot.

Re: Le Mans 2 hr in Ferraris
good race guys , there are 2 tracks in this game that i spend a lot of time
on (you got it , the ring and le mans) by the way Stumbles hope you were
joking with the sandbag comment.Pual has that if you wont to find out.
Its all in the pitstops , and look after your tyers. This enduro was a little
easier than the 24 hr one that i did a few months back.Next stop the
final race in this game. 24hr Nurburgring F that will be interesting.
With change weather and day/night , love the DARK.

Re: Le Mans 2 hr in Ferraris
Laugh, talk about messing up pitstops.
What I thought (and should) have been my second to last pitstop, cut down the fuel to what the game wanted to put in and it worked out great nearly out of fuel same time as tyres were gone. Came into what I thought was my last pitstop, thought it was a 2 hr timed race, so only put 10 litres of fuel in to cut down pitstop time. Three quarters through the lap, 2 hour passes and race hasn't finished. Look up and see lap 30 of 31. So have to stop very next lap to take on more fuel for the last lap.
I must admit I enjoy the longer enduro races with full damage, perhaps I should consider putting on traction control in the enduro's to help when tyres are getting well worn (took damage twice when tyres were well worn, causing me to slowly limp back to the pits), instead of running with nothing but ABS 1 each race.
