Sweet, only 11 or 12 days until this hits our doorstep.

And I just moved my 48" Samsung LCD into my games room (swapped out my old 26" LCD with the one in the lounge...lol).

48" of HDMI goodness in a room that's only 2 metres by 3 metres...LMFAO

just go and buy one, i did. now i just gotta figure out how to mount it in the tiny area ive got. LOL the pedals just fit between my bed and the subwoofer haha!

haha cut up a bed frame and if your half ok at welding your set just make some measurements than pick up a cheap seat

Just got back from EB Games and it is official!!!!! 25th November will be our release date I asked the chick behind the counter if we will be having a midnight release and she replied with no. So its a work day and will have to wait until after 6 o'clock to play. I can feel a mystery illness coming on that day.

Confirmed date for us in Oz...

Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has today confirmed that Gran Turismo® 5 will go on sale in stores across Australia from Thursday, 25th November 2010

Yeah EB Games sent me a text on Saturday about the release date, do you think my eyes lit up or what Surprised . The wife reckons she is going to book a hotel room for that weekend, especially if I bring my Hyper into the lounge lmao...

GT Planet have got their hands on a retail copy...


[FIRST UPDATE: Game gently warns that "Install of game data can take up to 50 minutes". See you somewhat later then, I'm going to do somthing useful

It took 40 minutes. First bunch of installed data is actually 6.4GB, but we have already learned that game will continue to install (decompress) the data during playtime. And off we go

FIRST REAL UPDATE:

I drive with G25.

Clutch users, rejoyce! Clutch works, same style as GT5:Prologue, no official support, you still have to press triangle before the race, but the beauty is here.

Physics are fantastic. In the line somewhere between cruelty of Academy TT Demo and Prologue. My first ride was Trial Mountain with F40, S1 tyres, all aids OFF (ABS on 1), Professional setting. I spun on lap 2, went into Pause Menu and found out about new addition in Quick Options - Interior View Angle.

Have to chuck the game in and go find something to do for an hour or so!!!

Guys!! Just letting you know that it has been released in Europe and the USA already. If anyone gets it early or gets the phone call to come and get it before the 25th let us know on here.
I feel like a little kid counting down the days til Xmas, and I never got to open my presents then so would love to be able to play GT5 earlier. Please! Please! Please!
